| No person is so liable to a fall, as one
who is continually administering the truth of God, if he be not careful
to maintain a "good conscience". 1 Tim. 1:19 1 SAMUEL 1, Verses 12-28 1 Sam 1:12-19 These verses further show us possibly why God kept Hannah waiting so long before He gave her the child... the bad state of the priest. He thought Hannah was drunk. But she was in great sorrow, and waited patiently on the Lord. Hannah and her husband return to their home. Notice the last five wonderful words! 1 Sam 1:20 Hannah's prayer is answered and she is given a son whom she calls Samuel - which means "asked of God". 1 Sam 1:24-28 Notice 3 things about this little boy Samuel, who is brought to the house of the Lord at Shiloh, and left there. First, he was weaned. Perhaps this would mean "separation", for he would now be eating new and different food in the house of the Lord. Second, a sacrifice was offered! In order that they might stand accepted in the presence of God, there must be the death of a sacrifice. Third, he is brought into the presence of the Lord at Shiloh. Notice in the last verse, the word "LORD" is mentioned three times, and then it ends with the word "there". For the believer today, it is important to remember that the Lord Himself is the only gathering centre, for all who have put their trust in Him. Matt. 18:20. |

1:19. 1 SAMUEL 1, versets 12-28 1 Sam 1:12-19 Ces versets nous montre davantage, possiblement, pourquoi Dieu avait tant fait attendre Anne avant de lui donner un fils... le mauvais état du sacrificateur. Il pensait qu'Anne était ivre, mais elle avait une très grande peine et s'attendait patiemment à l'Éternel. Anne et son époux retournent à leur maison. Remarquez la beauté des cinq dernières paroles. 1 Sam 1:20 Voici la réponse de la prière d'Anne. Elle a un fils qu'elle prénomme Samuel - ce qui signifie "Demandé à Dieu". 1 Sam 1:24-28 Il y a trois choses à remarquer au sujet de ce petit Samuel qui est amené et laissé à la maison de l'Éternel à Silo. Premièrement, il était sevré. Cela pourrait signifier qu'il était apte à la "séparation" car il mangerait maintenant une nourriture nouvelle et différente dans la maison de l'Éternel. Deuxièmement, un sacrifice fut offert! Afin de pouvoir se tenir dans la présence de Dieu, un sacrifice être offert - la mort. Troisièmement, il est amené à Silo, dans la présence de l'Éternel. Remarquez que, dans le dernier verset, le nom de l'Éternel est mentionné trois fois et que l'endroit où il nous laisse est "là". Il est important, pour le croyant d'aujourd'hui, de se souvenir que le Seigneur Lui-même est le seul centre de rassemblement pour tous ceux qui ont placé leur confiance en Lui - Mt 18:20. |
Ninguém está tão
propenso a cair, quanto aquele que está continuamente ministrando a
verdade de Deus, se não tiver o cuidado de manter uma "boa consciência".
1 Tm 1:19. 1 SAMUEL 1, Vers. 12-28 1 Sm 1:12-19 É possível que estes versículos nos mostrem com mais profundidade por que Deus fez Ana esperar tanto antes de lhe dar o filho... a má condição do sacerdote. Este achou que Ana estivesse bêbeda. Mas ela estava em grande tristeza, e esperava pacientemente no Senhor. Ana e seu marido voltaram para casa. Repare nas últimas cinco maravilhosas palavras! 1 Sm 1:20 A oração de Ana é respondida e ela recebe um filho ao qual chama de Samuel - que significa "requisitado por Deus". 1 Sm 1:24-28 Repare nas três coisas a respeito deste garotinho Samuel, que é levado à casa do Senhor em Silo, e deixado ali. Primeiro, ele tinha sido desmamado. Talvez isto pudesse significar "separação", pois agora ele estaria comendo uma comida nova e diferente na casa do Senhor. Em segundo lugar, foi oferecido um sacrifício! Para poderem ser aceitos na presença de Deus, deve ocorrer uma morte por sacrifício. Terceiro, ele é levado à presença do Senhor em Silo. Repare no último versículo, a palavra "SENHOR" é mencionada três vezes, e termina com a palavra "ali". Para o crente hoje, é importante lembrar que o próprio Senhor é o único centro de reunião, para todos os que colocaram sua confiança nEle. Mt 18:20. |
